Duties: Customerservice and documentation:VIP customer account managementProviding customer education and support onthe use of digital platforms and online services Preparing arrivalnotifications for clients’ shipments, import documents collection and filing; Checkingbills of lading for accuracy, Timely and correct issuance of all importand export documents to customers, Ensure export and import documentationoperating procedures are followed and complied with, Ensure relevant documents are collected andfiled safely, in order to prevent maritime legal/loss claims, Importstracking and regular movement updates to ensure smooth flow of shipments from originto final delivery points, Raising invoices and ensuring that charges due are collected on time, Preparingdraft bills and freight statements,Supporting sales (import and export) team members,Accompanying the sales and branch managersto meetings with stakeholders,Attend to customer queries, responding toemails and ensure service delivery is maintained, Logistics:Assisting inmonitoring and evaluating transport service providers’ performance including liaising with them to ensure that theycomply with the Standard Operating Procedure,Updating key departments on the movements of shipments,Liaising with overseas clients and CMA CGMstaff to ensure smooth flow of documents an information’Attending to all freightrelated queries,Carry out all aspect of logistics andPreparing transport and container stocksrelease orders, Equipmentcontrol:Tracking CMACGM Group equipment/ shipping containers, updating company global system,preparing allocations for exports, checking for repairs and maintenance andstock taking and control, Preparing equipment/stock forecasts andliaising with head office, Carrying outspot checks on company equipment/stocks and submitting a detailed weekly stockreport,Reconciliation of depot handling and storageinvoices and send approval for payment,Monitoring and control of detention and demurrage charges/issues,Initiating the cargo loss/container damage claims and follow-ups onpayments,Identify costleadership and pursue cost cutting initiatives in all areas of operations, Assisting the trade Supervisor withpreparation of weekly and monthly reports and market analysis,Attend to any queries received from overseas agents and head office. Debtors control andadministration:Follow-ups on outstanding payments/debtors control,Preparing files for legal processes.Assisting theadministration executive in purchasing of office stationery and consumables,Assisting theadministration executive in managing company vehicles’ service and maintenance,Assistance with phone calls to and from all stakeholders andAttending toall other duties as directed by the managers
